As part of the festival there will be a wide range of events that include the visual arts, dance, drama, music of all kinds and a whole series of workshops to enable people to have a first hand experience of making their own art.
Loads of thing will be added to the website over the next few weeks, so keep coming back to get updated.
We are currently constructing the programme for 2013 and hope to publish this by the end of March. This consolidates some of the work from last year and offers some of the performers who were popular during this period. At present we are in negotiations with a number of artists including A Bollywood a Ukulele ensemble and a Buddy Holly tribute band.
We are hoping to run an open mike comedy evening and are currently looking for an organiser for this event. If you are a budding comedian get in touch you might be just the person we are looking for – telephone 01484 718324 or make contact through the site.
2013 promises to be an exciting time and we hope that our audiences from last year will act promptly when tickets become available which should be around the 1st June. Remember we cannot sustain these events without a clear indication that there is public interest – with each post of Facebook and Twitter we would hope that you would ‘like’ or comment on the proposals.
