More information

From the beginning of  February Tom Ratcliffe has stepped down as Director of the Brighouse Festival. This is owing to the pressure of work in other aspects of his professional life. He would like to thank the large numbers of people, particularly those listed below, who have made this a success over the past four years. He hopes that the festival will enjoy continued success and goes from strength to strength.

The Brighouse Arts Festival would like to thank all of the organisations, local companies and individuals who have helped to make this years festival a resounding success. We would particularly like to thank our sponsors: The box offices of Simply Flowers, Harrison Lord, Ryecorn Wholefoods and Brighouse Library; Sainsbury’s for donating groceries for our hospitality, Thornhill Estates, Websters Insurance, Calderdale Foundation and Calderdale MBC, The Brighouse Business Initiative, Calderdale Cultural Services, Rastrick and Brighouse Library Staff, the Salvation Army Citadel, The Central Methodist Church, staff of the Civic Hall. St Martins Parish Church, Martin Street Arts Centre, St john the Divine, Brooks and Pregos, No 43 Coffee Shop, The Spot Shop and Steven Lord, John Buxton, and Lesley Adams for all of their continued support. We would also like to thank the committee of the Friends of the Rydings who provided staffing for events and volunteers who helped to make events run smoothly.

We are always pleased to have approaches from other organisations who wish to take part in the festival, especially if this is a self-starter that we can support. However, we would ask that you contact us in the first instance and we will be happy to support your inclusion into the programme. It is not acceptable to trade off Brighouse Arts Festival or to use our website to promote work that appears as if its is sponsored by us.
